Pick 4
Pick 4 is a VA Lottery game where you can play for up to $5,000 cash twice every day. Play your way with multiple fun play types that let you choose how to make a winning match, plus wagers starting at just 50¢. Enter the Midday draw at 1:59 PM ET, the Evening draw at 11:00 PM ET, or both. There's a draw break just beforehand, beginning at 1:53 PM and 10:45 PM, and ticket sales resume after the draw.

How to Play
Is it your turn to win a Virginia Lottery prize? Try your luck with Pick 4 - just follow these steps to get started:
- A Pick 4 play costs 50¢ or $1, with a top prize of $2,500 and $5,000 respectively
- Choose a play type - there are multiple choices, so read on for details
- Pick the Midday draw, Evening draw, or both
- Select four digits from 0000 through 9999, or just mark Easy Pick on your playslip to have the numbers randomly generated
- You've got options: Mark Multi-Draw to play up to 91 consecutive draws on one ticket. To play a specific date, choose Future Draw (check the Optional Plays box and inform the retailer of your date). And if you love your lucky numbers, ask for Repeat to play them again.
Fireball
Fireball is an option that gives players more ways to win. Following each Pick 4 draw, the Lottery draws a Fireball number from 0 to 9. Players can use the Fireball digit to replace one of the Pick 4 numbers for more ways to win. You can hit a payout on Pick 4, Fireball - including multiple wins - or even both. Adding Fireball doubles the cost of your base game play.
Play Types
Pick 4 has a choice of four fun play types, which determine how your numbers can match to win a prize:
- Exact order: Match the four digits in the same order drawn (50¢ or $1 bet)
- Any order*: Match the four digits in any order (50¢ or $1 bet)
- 50/50*: A $1 bet with 50¢ each on exact and any order
- Combo*: A $1 exact order wager on each potential combination of your four digits
*These play styles can be 4-way, 6-way, 12-way or 24-way depending on how many winning combinations could be made from your numbers. Combo cost from $4 to $24 since the play includes all possible combinations of your numbers
