How to Play Pick 3 in Virginia
Follow these easy steps to start playing Pick 3 VA today:
- Choose your bet: 50¢ or $1. The more you wager, the more you can win
- Pick your Pick 3 play type: There are lots of fun options to choose from - see below
- Choose a Pick 3 draw: Midday, Evening, or both
- Select three digits from 000 through 999. Or for the fastest way to get in the game, use Easy Pick and the lottery computer will choose three for you
- More options: With Multi-Draw, you can enter up to 91 consecutive Pick 3 draws on one ticket. Select Future Play if you have a special date you want to play. And if you'd like to play your lucky numbers again, just ask the retailer for a Repeat ticket
Virginia Fireball
Add Fireball to your Pick 3 VA play for an extra way to win. Following each main Pick 3 draw, the Virginia Lottery draws a separate Fireball number from 0 to 9. You can use the Fireball digit to replace one of your regular Pick 3 numbers. If your numbers match the winning numbers plus Fireball then you'll win a Fireball prize. Players are eligible to win on Pick 3, Fireball, or both.
Adding Fireball doubles the cost of your Pick 3 play.
Play Types
Players enjoy a lot of variety with Pick 3 - there are multiple ways your numbers can make a winning match with the numbers drawn:
- Exact order: Match the three numbers in the same order drawn (50¢ or $1 play)
- Any order: Match the three numbers in any order (50¢ or $1 play)
- 50/50: A $1 play divided into 50¢ each on exact and any order
- Combo: $1 exact order on all possible combinations of your three digits ($3 or $6 play)
- Pairs: Choose just two digits, one of the Pairs options, and match both digits in exact order to win: Front Pair (match first two), Split Pair (match first and last), or Back Pair (match last two)
